If you need a nice SQL tool (this is not a WDSC plugin though) I would
suggest F.R.O.G. You can find it at
http://www.innovativesys.net/?page_id=4 I use it quite often if I'm not
worried about doing a visual explain. Its fast, lightweight, and has a
Cancel button you can push to stop a long running query :)
And its free.

Re: [WDSCI-L] WDSCi Data perspective thinks my user name is the
libraryname.
"Are you using library.table syntax? The "/" is a midrange quirk..."
Eric - I tried both the dot and slash, and no luck with either.
I toyed with the jdbc connection settings and now I'm getting 'Unhandled
event loop exception' and 'java.lang.NullPointerException' errors. and
can't even get the original error now.
I've been using the Quantum DB plug in, but found it difficult to cancel
long running tasks so that's why I thought I'd try the data perspective.
Thanks!
