The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.
If you know of an easy to use, open source, search engine ... please contact support@midrange.com.
It has been awhile since I connected to my V4R4 box, (its powered down
or I would try it) but from what I remember, I used WDSC V7 to connect
to it. I was able to write the routines and compile. The LPEX editor
simply didn't tell me when I tried to use an unsupported option.
The piece that is not there is the STRRSESVR on the emulator side.
So if memory serves, you can develop that way.

I don't think there is support for WDSC to V4R4, but if it doesn't work,
you could always just use CODE/400. That product was fully supported in
V4. You should try WDSC first, though.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Connecting to a V4R4M0 ?
Hello to all.
Due to some problem, i have the need to rewrote a software i have for
5.4.0
on a 4.4.0 machine.
Does anyone know if it's possible to connect with WDSC (i'm using 6.0.1)
to
that box?? or do i have to switch back to SEU??
I don't care even if i cannot use WDSC to check source (i suppose 4.4.0
won't be considered by WDSC) but at least i would like to avoid to write
source on my 5.4.0 machine using WDSC, then copy to 4.4.0 to compile and
test (too much used to WDSC, programmin in SEU is slower...)
Any hint would be appreciated, just to avoid spending time trying to do
an
impossible connection.
Thanks
