learning WDSCi is *not* wasted money. RDi works exactly the same for most
(if not all) similar tasks (lpex editor, syntax checking and so forth) so
that knowledge is still moving toward the end-goal. WDSCi is not really
"end of life" until it's no longer supported IMO. WDSCi is supported
until April 2010 according to George Farr

How about the fact that WDSCi is at end of life, there will be no
additional enhancements to it, none of the new addons to RDi like EGL or
Concert will work with WDSCi, IBM will stop supporting it at some time and
any time spent on learning more about WDSCi will be wasted money.
