How do I Upgrade from RDI 7.1 to RDI 7.5 -- WDSCI-L

Hi,
I would like to upgrade from 7.1 to 7.5. What is the proper way to do this? Do I use the Update Manager in 7.1?
or
Do I download it from http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/r/rdi/?S_TACT=105AGX28&S_CMP=DLMAIN

If I download and install the trial version, What do I have to do with licensing? If I install over 7.1 is it taken care of automatically or do I have to apply a key?
