That puzzles me too. I recently downloaded Eclipse J2EE and Zend Studio
to Ubuntu. And they run fine. What's the show stopper with RDi?

As I understand it, the LPEX editors are not platform neutral..

If that in fact is true: sorry for my ignorance, but how can an editor that sit's on top of the Eclipse RCP not being independent from the underlying OS platform?
