Such as? What standard office equipment isn't supported by Linux?

My Canon MF5750 isn't, which drives me nuts. I am looking to get a
different printer/scanner/copier because of it. Major bummer.

My Blackberry isn't recognized as an "internet card" on my laptop while in
Ubuntu which means I need to boot to widows if I need to connect on the
road.

My mirrored 400GB SATA drives are no longer mirrored because Intel (a
supposed big supporter of Linux) doesn't work with the GRUB bootloader
(Ubuntu wiped the mirror which caused me about 4 hours of back peddling one
weekend).

Anyways, those have been some of my trials. I went all out in adopting
Linux so I have had MANY experiences the past month :-) It is ready for
*some* users as a home/work desktop, but definitely not all.

I would encourage you do to a dualboot with Ubuntu as an option (incredibly
easy to install) so you can check out your ability to switch over
completely. It is harder than one might think, but will be worth it in the
end. I am starting to blog my "challenges" now, with my first being
yesterday: http://mowyourlawn.com/blog/?p=73
