I can make all this stuff -and very complete business app- using only RPG +
html + a little js and css.

No you can't. You can not duplicate our application using RPG and HTML. Please, try it.

You need at the minimum JavaScript to make an online chat. And you need a lot more to be able to do the application we have. I challenge you to duplicate the application. Even part of it. I'll be very interested to see how long it takes you.

Then I'll be interested to see the performance. Because you'll be making round trips to the server every time you want to show anything.

the "i" developers don't have a guidelines nor concrete product coming from
IBM,
but can see concrete directions in MS or "gratis total" approach in using
php.
Who told you PHP is free? PHP from Zend certainly isn't. They waive support for three years, but that's just for the core product, and even that costs you after the "trial period" expires.

really do you think EGL is at same level of customers or market knowing?
and EGL is not from a few monts ago, and is confusing even in the price and
info/tutorials.
EGL is not new; it's been around outside the System i space for a while now, and it's predecessors (CSP and then VAGen) have been around for nearly 30 years. There's nothing confusing: RDi-SOA is the tooling you need, at $2000 a seat.

thus, when tools are based in java (also you can see the very thin adption
or real use of webfacing) the customers prefers going to other ways.

surely it are needed to be an java advocated, I've try the java and egl way,
frustrating, maybe too late. old dog and new tricks....
If you are going to not use the best tools because you don't like Java, then that's your decision. It's a bad one, in my opinion, but it's yours to make. You have to tell management why you don't have Web 2.0 applications.
