I don't understand this. IBM has given you every tool you need to create the best GUI applications out there.

Please, go to http://www.laffra.com and try out the scheduling application. It's 100% EGL front end and 100% RPG back end. No gimmicks, no Java required, and it's better than any PHP or .NET application (and a lot easier to write, especially *real* back end processing).

Event processing, Web 2.0, sophisticated graphics.

And it runs on an iPhone!
