Aaron's statement, RPG *should* have native GUI capabilities
*without*
all the extra gyrations, wrappers, etc.
This is the classic example of "It's not gonna happen, so why waste
cycles on it?"
The more time people spend arguing on a native GUI for the 5250, the
less time we
spend on implementing real solutions.

Usually on midrange.com lists people say, "Speak up and speak out." Why
is it the desire for a native i5/OS GUI should be any different? I'm
betting that people aren't requesting it and at the same time planting
their feet down and refusing any other forward momentum. I share the
opinion that IBM should be developing a native GUI environment and that
it would only add to the survivability (not to mention growth) of the
system. My 2 cents.
