WDSC V7 has been out for nearly a year, and will continue to be supported (bug fixes only) until, what, 2010? It will have all the functions and features you need until you install V6R1, and my guess is you won't be installing V6R1 the day it's announced. And even when it is, will you be immediately adding the new RPG features to your programs? Probably not.

So, if you had installed WDSC V7, you'd have a great, feature-rich tool that still has a couple of years of life in it.
