Hi Brandon,

I must confess that I only use projects occasionally; I use RSE most of the
time. So it didn't occur to me to qualify that shortcut as "RSE only" or
"except in projects". Thanks for pointing that out.

So since I'm not as experienced with projects, perhaps someone else can
suggest a way to do that. I typically verify and then use Remote Actions
from the Project Navigator to compile, but I agree a "push changes and
compile" keyboard shortcut from the editor would be useful.

Does anyone else know of a shortcut for it or how to create one?

Susan,

On your list it says "Ctrl+Shift+C" compiles the source you are editing.
I can only get that to work with source from RSE. Is there a way to get
that when editing source from a project?

Thanks,
Brandon

Too bad there's not a way to print that.

I agree. But another issue I found with that list is that it's too big -
I
have to sift through too many things I don't care about before I find
the
few gems I want to use on a regular basis.

That's why I created my own "personal favorites" shortcut list - which
has
subsequently become the System i Developer favorite shortcuts list.

If anyone wants to use it - or use it as a starting point for creating
your
own list - go to:

http://systemideveloper.com/downloads.html

where you can download a PDF of our list or send an email request for a
hard
copy card of our list.

I accidentally hit Ctrl-Shift-L. It is a pop-up with many shortcuts on
it!

Thought I would pass it on...
