The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Excellent point Tom! I do very little admin stuff with PDM, so I
wouldn't
even know how others are using it in that vein.
I think it would surprise a lot of people to learn what others may be
using the PDM option column for, since anyone can create their own
options using CL, RPG, etc.
I use option "CS" to run a custom script for creating service programs,
and option "CP" to run a custom script for creating programs. My build
scripts use a naming convention to associate binding directory names
with program and service program names to automate the bind process, for
example.
I've seen PDM options for sending objects to customer sites via FTP. I
wrote an application generator that builds CRUD applications which I
evoke from a PDM option.
I once was looking over the shoulder of a guy from Itera (now Vision
Solutions), and he was using PDM options to setup and configure their HA
software.
I use a web application architecture where the applications run under a
batch subsystem, so I occasionally use a PDM option to evoke the
STRSRVJOB and STRDBG commands to debug applications in batch mode.
