I figured that was what Softlanding was after by porting Subversion to
i5/OS.

They simply ported the Subversion runtime. As I understand it, they didn't
provide any integration for i5 native source code to sync with the
repository (I didn't find any when I installed it). While it is fairly
simple to do by creating some custom commands, it leaves the door wide open
for each company to develop their own processes to get RPG code into
Subversion (wherever Subversion may reside). With my article series on
Subversion I hope to hone that process a little so everybody doesn't have to
figure out those pieces for themselves.
