Well, that article also applies to version 6. Even so, I found the corresponding folder that's in version 7 and deleted it -- and then WDSC wouldn't start. I think you're onto something, though: it must be something in the \Program Files\IBM\configuration folder, since this problem traverses workspaces.

I think the '.registry' referenced in the article was migrated to the
.metadata\.config folder which no longer exists in version 7. Anyone

care to verify that?
