Hi there,
Earlier today, I started up WDSC 7 and it came up and then said "Refreshing workspace" in the bottom right corner of the window. This stayed like that forever (2+ hours) until I force-quit the application. Now, whenever I launch WDSC, these messages appear in the .log file:
!SESSION 2007-12-12 14:35:50.616 -----------------------------------------------
eclipse.buildId=unknown
java.fullversion=J2RE 1.5.0 IBM J9 2.3 Windows XP x86-32 j9vmwi3223ifx-20070323 (JIT enabled)

JIT - 20070109_1805ifx3_r8
GC - WASIFIX_2007
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86, WS=win32, NL=en_US
Framework arguments: -product com.ibm.etools.iseries.wdsc.welcome.ide
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86 -product com.ibm.etools.iseries.wdsc.welcome.ide
!ENTRY org.eclipse.core.resources 2 10035 2007-12-12 14:35:53.007
!MESSAGE A workspace crash was detected. The previous session did not exit normally.
Also, the "Refreshing workspace" message will appear for a few seconds with every launch, and sometimes eclipse even brings up a dialog saying that it's waiting for the Remote System Explorer background process to complete. I don't recall ever seeing either of those messages before.
I've tried launching WDSC with "-clean", as well as various suggestions I picked up from Googling, but nothing works. Every launch generates that "workspace crash" log message, as well as one or both of those "refreshing" messages. Does anyone have an idea as to what's wrong and how to fix it?
Thanks!
Jeff
