I haven't been following this thread in it's entirety, but if you are to a
point where your network people are befuddled you may want to look at
Wireshark (www.wireshark.org, f.k.a ethereal) to see what it can
additionally show you. I have used it to track down IBM Apache server bugs
when .NET makes an HTTP POST. Gives you A LOT of information.
