I recommend looking into the "Mastering the IBM Webfacing Tool" RedBook. In
"Chapter 11: Integration with other applications" you will maybe find the
answers to your questions.

In short aside other values both the hostname / IP-address and port to use may
be used as parameters in the invocation URL.
