Re: [WDSCI-L] Quantum DB connection to DB2 in Windows
Michael,
The type is:
DB2 for AS400
Driver Jar is:
JT400.jar (can be found in client access folder but be careful its not too
old. Might want to download it from IBM's Java toolbox site)
Class Name is:
com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver (only one available for selection
when JT400 is pointed to
Connection URL is:
jdbc:as400://youriSeries;libraries=myLib
youriSeries is of course your system name while myLib is the filtered
single library. You can have multiple by putting comma's in betwee the
names I believe.
Hope this helps

I am trying to access a DB2 database in Windows. I am not even sure what
JDBC drive to use and where to find it.
My system i connection works great.
Thanks.

Has anyone created a Database Bookmark using the Quantum DB plug-in to
access a DB2 database in the Windows environment?
If so, would you please share the JDBC driver used, where you got the
driver, driver path and the specific connection URL string. Also, were
there any specific changes needed in the CLASSPATH environment variable to
do this?
Thanks so much.
