I have configured QuantumDB plug-in to access a DB2 database residing on
Windows.
The type is:
DB2
Driver Jar is:
db2jcc.jar (can be found in C:\Program
Files\IBM\SDP70Shared\plugins\com.ibm.datatools.db2_1.0.0.v200607211720\driver\db2jcc.jar)
You also need the following added as external JARs C:\Program
Files\IBM\SDP70Shared\plugins\com.ibm.datatools.db2_1.0.0.v200607211720\driver\db2jcc_license_cu.jar;C:\Program
Connection URL is:
jdbc:db2://servername:50000/databasename
Hope this helps others using the QuantumDB plug-in.
Regards.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] Quantum DB connection to DB2 in Windows
Has anyone created a Database Bookmark using the Quantum DB plug-in to
access a DB2 database in the Windows environment?
If so, would you please share the JDBC driver used, where you got the
driver, driver path and the specific connection URL string. Also, were
there any specific changes needed in the CLASSPATH environment variable to
do this?
Thanks so much.
michael
