Is it possible to FTP a Source Physical File Member from the iSeries to a PC (and back) and keep the line number and date?

I have tried changing several FTP parameters, but found nothing to allow me to FTP the source with date and line. All the iSeries documentation I found indicates these fields are stripped. I was also unable to copy a Source physical file member to a separate PF and keep these fileds intact.

I know WDSC sends this information, but suspect it is using some server other than FTP.
