The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Would you please post the full command being executed (you should just be
able to copy/paste from the iSeries commands log view)?
I believe I may have heard/seen this before, but I need to see your whole
command to know what's going on.

I began using WDSC vers 6 a few months ago (on a limited basis, but I am
trying to work with it more), and have recently upgraded to version 7.0. I
have noticed the following problem in both versions and would like to know
if other users have encountered the problem and if so, what might be done
to fix it.
When attempting to compile a display file in WDSC using the CRTDSPF
command, a window is displayed (see attached screen shot) with the error
message
"*EVENTF is not valid for parameter OPTION". When I try to edit the
command to remove the OPTION keyword or I try to create a new command that
does not contain the OPTION keyword, WDSC changes the command back to the
default which includes the OPTION keyword.
I would appreciate any information anyone may have on this issue.
Kind regards,
