Aaron,

Your WDSC 7.0 install took 13gb ? What all did you install ? Even when I
selected all options mine was just over 5gb.

You're not running FAT or FAT32 on your computer are you ? :-)

WDSC 6.0 Removal Tip: I simply deleted all the WDSC 6.0 files from the
directory and it didn't cause any problems. Might want to back up your
hard drive first unless you're brave, but with Eclipse it shouldn't cause
any issues since Eclipse is always relative path based anyway.

Trying to uninstall WDSC 6.x produces this error (after it had been
uninstalling for over 10 minutes). Where can I find this log.txt file?

Errors occurred during the uninstallation.

* An error occurred and product uninstallation failed. Look at the log
file log.txt for details.

On another note the reason why I am uninstalling is because my Add/Remove
Programs window is showing it takes up almost 6GB! I was even more
surprised to see that the new install is taking up 12.7GB! Whew! So just
to make the switch from WDSC 6.0 to 7.0 I needed 26 Gig of space (i.e. 6GB
for old version, 13GB for new version, 7GB for ISO images downloaded from
IBM). I don't know if that is cool or not cool :-) I only have a 60GB HD
on this laptop and that pushed me to the limit. I had to delete ALL of my
MP3's :-(

TIA,
Aaron Bartell
