John Taylor

IBM is already charging for the the development toolset.
It's called 5722WDS.

There is nothing free about WDSC.

John (<tic>) isn't Microsoft Word "free"? After all, Microsoft includes it for
free in Microsoft Office.
I think this is because a few people often refer to IBM provided software as
"free". Perhaps it is free to them and they disregard the fact that that average
joe/jane shop has to pay for it, or perhaps they're just drinking the Kool-Aid.
I've tried to counter this perspective several times in articles and lectures
but apparently it was to no end.

I don't think anyone really believes WDSC is free and I don't think anyone
believes feature "X" is free (when you've already paid for the package, e.g., is
MS Word free because its included in Microsoft Office?)
So John, I second you remarks.
