From: albartell I was doing some RPG XML web service integration to C#.NET this week and ended up having to pony up a little on C#.NET so I could test things on my own before handing them off to C#.NET developers. Because I was on the road and didn't have access to Visual Studio I went ahead and downloaded the free SharpDevelop IDE (http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/) and was curious to know if others have used this to learn the ".NET Way" and test the integration of .NET with their iSeries. Seems like a cheap alternative to Visual Studio and so far I am very impressed with how similar it is to Visual Studio (which I have on a different computer).
I don't know that it belongs here... probably more of a PCTECH post. But it still looks cool! Joe
