Hi Guys (& gals), I'm a contractor in the UK and I convinced my client to try WDSc (I'm sure they only agreed because there was no cost, apart from the learning curve). This issue has now got me annoyed and I want to have a pop at IBM too, but being in the UK makes it difficult for me to attend this kind of conference. Do you know how I can find out about events of this kind in the UK? By the way Buck, I'm also one of the undergrounders! Personally I would be on the attack at COMMON but unfortunately I've never made it to COMMON

Maybe someday they will have a online chat forum for those of us who can't physically attend...so until then gripe for me when you go ;-)
I'm going to be at the TUG (Toronto User's Group for System i) annual Technical Education Conference (TEC) in April. I don't think I'll be able to make it to any of George Farr's presentations - I'm only there for two of the three days. If I get any sort of chance to bring this issue to IBM's attention I will do so. On the topic of TEC, if you are within striking distance of Toronto I'd highly recommend it. I'm not involved with the organization at all, I've just found it to be a good conference. There are some really good WDSC sessions - actual put on by members of the development team (including some of those who contribute to this list), along with a day of labs (which include some WDSC labs). You also get the big name speakers like Jon Paris, Susan Gantner and Paul Tuohy. HTH, and maybe I'll see some of you in April!
