Clear the cache and restart workbench eases all your aches and pains.

If this doesn't help, I resort to minor surgery which involves cutting your
profiles off and sticking them in a new workspace.

See Don Yantzi's reply entitled re workspace rescue.

Subject: [WDSCI-L] WDSc crashes when I close a source member

Help!

Every time I close a source member WDSc crashes with the following
messages;

            JVM terminated. Exit code=255

            C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\jre\bin\javaw.exe

            -Xj9

-Dorg.eclipse.emf.ecore.EPackage.Registry.INSTANCE=org.eclipse.emf.ecore
.impl.EPackageRegistryImpl

            -Xquickstart

            -cp C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\startup.jar
org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main

            -os win32

            -ws win32

            -arch x86

            -showsplash C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\eclipse.exe -showsplash 600

            -exitdata C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\eclipse.exe -exitdata 840_7a4

            -plugincustomization C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\eclipse\default\plugin_customization.ini

            -vm C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\jre\bin\java.exe

            -vmargs

            -Xj9

-Dorg.eclipse.emf.ecore.EPackage.Registry.INSTANCE=org.eclipse.emf.ecore
.impl.EPackageRegistryImpl

            -Xquickstart

            -cp C:\Program
Files\IBM\Rational\SDP\6.0\.\eclipse\startup.jar
org.eclipse.core.launcher.Main

What on earth does this mean and does anyone have any idea how to stop
it from happening?

I have not installed anything new on my PC today.

Best regards,

Mark Austin
