David, Is your code (I assume RPGLE) has embedded SQL statements? If yes, could you please check if you have this SQL precompiler PTF SI24324 in your system? Could you please check if you have all the debugger PTF applied to your V5R2 host? Thanks.
Yes, I double checked that I have all the required ptf's applied. Ok, my user profile didn't have *SERVICE special authority ... which I now have. I can set the SEP for the target user profile, but when the debugger tries to invoke, I get a Communications Failure. The only thing that I can see in my .log file is a bunch of these messages: !ENTRY org.eclipse.ui 4 4 Jan 23, 2007 12:58:27.230 !MESSAGE Conflicting key binding for 'org.eclipse.jdt.debug.ui.commands.StepIntoSelection' and 'com.ibm.etools.iseries.editor.keybinding.refresh' !ENTRY com.ibm.etools.systems.core 4 0 Jan 23, 2007 13:55:36.128 !MESSAGE Invalid thread access david
