Has anybody else experienced problems with splitting the edit window after switching from the normal RSE mode to using the SoftLanding editing perspective? On two different machines when I do this the ability to open a second window by dragging to the margin disappears. If I try to drag one edit tab to the side the arrow that appears faces the wrong way! I.e. instead of the arrowhead pointing outwards (or downwards at the bottom of the screen) it points inwards (or upwards). As a result when you let go nothing happens. I just experimented with closing down all but one source window and then opening a second source and lo and behold the problem disappears. Anyone else seen this behaviour?
