Hi Michael,

Try right clicking on iSeries Objects and selecting verify connection to
make sure there is no firewall software on the new PC that is blocking one
of the connections to the iSeries. Also try expanding the Home filter
under the IFS subsystem to make sure you can access the IFS files from the
new PC.

Hi Michael,

Did you see a message at the bottom of the window indicating that the
events file was being retrieved?

NO. I am not even get pop-up windows telling me "Compiling member..."
followed by "Retrieving errors..." like I always do on my workstation.

Even if there is no errors, the events file should get retrieved. When
you
look at your Error List view, do you see the member name as the title
just
over the table?

NO. The Error List view is completely empty in an un-initialized state.

I would also note that come command (like CRTCMD) do no generate events
files.

The 2 compile commands work fine from my workstation - just not from the
workstation where I am trying to get WDSC set up. Any other ideas? Should
I
open a PMR?
