Hi Michael, Did you see a message at the bottom of the window indicating that the events file was being retrieved? Even if there is no errors, the events file should get retrieved. When you look at your Error List view, do you see the member name as the title just over the table? I would also note that come command (like CRTCMD) do no generate events files. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 12/14/2006 02:47:39 PM:
List, I have been trying to set up a 2nd PC with WDSC. As far as I can tell,
the
settings are the same as my PC, but when I execute a compile, the iSeries
Error List view is not getting populated. For the drop-down options in the iSeries Error List view I have the following: Show Severity: all are checked Messages: Insert All The compile works and it appears in the iSeries Job Status list - just no
errors in the list. I searched the online help and every place the error list is referenced
it
clearly says "the list gets populated automatically". What am I missing? TIA! -- Regards, Michael Rosinger Systems Programmer / DBA Computer Credit, Inc. 640 West Fourth Street Winston-Salem, NC 27101 336-761-1524 m rosinger at cciws dot com
