Not sure which ones don't generate a program, but the one listed below generated a program for me. I also saw the severity 10 error with the red X. I then compiled from SEU and checked the compile listing. I see the severity 10 error there as well. The 2 systems are acting exactly the same. The only difference was WDSC showed me the error, and SEU made me look for it, smorrison@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 11/15/2006 03:10 PM Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries <wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> cc Subject [WDSCI-L] Simple CL program - Compile errors I've been dealing with some simple CL programs that don't declare variables, labels, or data areas. When I compile them in WDSC they generate en error listing in the iSeries Error List, with a red X and severity 10 errors. Although sometimes they do generate a CLP program object, I not sure that they always generate the program object. In any case, the red x in the Error List is misleading. Is this a known problem? Here is a sample CL program that will generate this type error list: Steven Morrison Fidelity Express 903-885-1283 ext. 479 /* Simple CL Program that generates error list in WDSC */ PGM STRSBS SBSD(QBATCH) MONMSG MSGID(CPF0000) ENDPGM
