for work?If WDSC worked in Linux, I would be MUCH closer to using Linux exclusively. I might build a QEMU image for the 2-3 other programs that "need" Windows, but I can't see WDSC working that way unless I get another GB of RAM to throw at QEMU. -- Sean Porterfield
I've been using linux exclusively at home for 5+ years. I used to want a wdsc version for linux, and set out to install eclipse. I happen to use Mandriva, and found it cumbersome to install Eclipse on Mandriva. So cumbersome that on subsequent os upgrades I didn't bother anymore with eclipse. My understanding of the problem (from jpackage.org) is the fact that java isn't open source. For fun I installed Sun's NetBeans. That was super simple. I downloaded the file, changed permissions, and ran it. Once installed, I launced the app and it worked. In the meantime I've been furnished with a work laptop and no longer have a need for wdsc on my personal computer. Phil
