Bill, I sympathize. WDSC thinks differently than the green screen. The only way I have found to get cleanly out of Debug is to get the program to finish. (I hit the resume button with no breakpoints in the way so it will go to EOJ.) You then have a terminated launch on your debug screen, and you can hit Remove all Terminated Launches to clean up. I then close all source members, remove all Service Entry Points, and at that point the screen is empty. There's an RSE perspective button I then hit to go back to RSE. I can't create new members in Code either: I create them in RSE and then open them with Code Designer. Bill wrote: How do you get out of debug after you get into it? I tried debugging a program through WDSc and it wasn't helping me so I ended the debug. Now I can't find my remote systems tree to allow me to get another source program. I have clicked clacked pushed and pulled on everything on the screen but still no remote systems icon. I an not stupid, but the whole concept behind WDSc might as well be written in Swahili . There are a lot of very nice features in WDSc that have proven helpful. Getting lost in debug land is not one of the nice features. Question 2 - Is there a way to create a DSPF or PRTF in Code? I can work with them if they already exist, but I can't seem to figure out how to start a new source from scratch. ___________________ Suzanne (508) 949-4139 voice (508) 949-4384 fax ----------------------------------------- The contents of this email may be confidential.
