Hi Jan, I suppose I was not clear. There is no API, and no plans to create one. Out of curiosity, why would you want a member open in both, are split views not adequate? thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 10/27/2006 02:41:52 AM:
That's it! Is there a way to get to the API?

__ Hi Jan, There is no way to do this and there is very little likelyhood of having
an
API on the iSeries which could trigger any WDSC client code to execute. Aside from locking issues with the scenario you describe, one of the
primary
goals of WDSC for iSeries is to replace the host tools with more powerful ones. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab
