If you're problem is the speed of working with the RSE tree-view, another
option is to use the iSeries Table View rather than the RSE tree. I've
found the Table View to be *MUCH* faster. Open the Table View and use the
Drop-down arrow (triangle) in the view's title-bar. From there 'Work
with', 'members', or 'files' or whatever you want. I don't know why but
the speed is dramatically better using the table over the tree. IMO

subject: [WDSCI-L] "remote systems view" generated on the fly

Hi.

Do someone know how to generate entries into the "remote systems view"
on
the fly?

The idea is to open wdsc (lite) from the green screen and open the
source I
selected in "green".

Kind regards

Jan Spallek
