I have had this problem and it not shutting down overnight. On 10/25/06, David Gibbs <david@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:
Ok, I've run into this problem on a number of occasions ... and it's happening right now. WDSC will start doing something that takes a while ... and it offers a red "Stop" button to (theoretically) cancel the operation. The problem is, clicking on the stop button does not appear to have any effect. Right now it's "Synchronizing resources" (I just clicked the save button to save changes to a source member). WDSC is currently quite busy ... doing (apparently) nothing. It's been sitting there, updating the progress bar, for about 10 minutes. I tried clicking the stop button, but it just grayed out the stop button and continues trying to synchronize resources. No errors are showing up in the .log file. Aside from canceling WDSC entirely, is there any way to get back control of my workspace?
