Debra said that the Extender is a green screen only application - that is correct. It has nothing to do with the XML tools in WDSC. It gives you some ability to work with XML in SQL IIRC.

That doesn't jive with a the information I got presentation about the WDSC
XML tools by Don Yantzi (one of the main developers on the WDSC product).
Unless I was grossly misinterpreting the presentation, it seemed that the
XML tools with WDSC could be used to produce a DAD file, which IIRC is the
'map' that one gives the XML Extenders to enable that product to process
the XML into or out of a table.

Can anyone who knows the WDSC XML tools better confirm or correct this?
