David,

If you mean that you won't get the upgrade because of cost, impress upon the
powers that be - the refresh/upgrade should already paid for, for all 20
developers. IF you have an RPG/COBOL compiler, you have the license for all
of your developers, if I am remembering correctly. At least that is how it
works here in the USA. I hope it is not different in France.

All you. or who ever has the responsibility, has to do, is order the WDSc
refresh, and you should get the latest version.

Thanks Violaine,

I haven't officially asked fot an upgrade yet, as I think the response
will
be no. We are about 20 developpers. We had a basic training in WDSc but we
all dropped it almost immediately. It was so unstable. When V5R3 was
installed I took the advice of the message in PDM and tried to learn WDSc
again.

Now I am hooked, although there are loads of functions I can't or daren't
use because I know WDSc will crash. If only I could get my colleagues
interested so that I would no longer be the only user of WDSc - but this
is
France - then we will certainly upgrade.

By refreshing do you mean a later release of version 5 ?

Hi David,

I don't believe Column Sensitive Editing was available in version 5.0
5.0 is a very early release of the product and you should really upgrade
to a more current release, as there are many fixes (including some for the
SEU prefix commands in LPEX) and enhancements.
You should be able to order a refresh of the product to get the latest
release.

Merci :-)
