A quick mark is nimble and useful. You set it (Ctrl+Q) at the current cursor position, go boldly editing elsewhere in the file, and then Alt+Q returns you to that original location. Moreover, this Alt+Q has re-set the quick mark to the new location, so repeated Alt+Qs will jump between the two spots in the document...
