The exception to this is if you are working offline (in which case the comm layer doesn't prompt for signon and sends info not found in cache messages). To work offline, right click on your connection and select work offline. Using Remote System Explorer when disconnected from the network, I get a pop-up window prompting for the remote system connection or a window prompting for the iSeries password every time I hit the enter key. I

'cancel'. In the past I've worked disconnected and didn't have this problem. I assume this is some preference setting but I'm not seeing it. Any assistance would be appreciated.
