Hey Folks, WDSC iFix2 is now available for all components for Advanced and Standard editions (download version from WDSC website to be made available in a few weeks - I don't know the exact date) The following RSE fixes are included: ·[SE24312] If a user opens a source physical file member using Remote Systems LPEX Editor, shuts down WDSC without closing the editor, deletes that member outside of WDSC (e.g. using a 5250 emulator), then brings up WDSC again, makes changes in the editor, and finally saves from the editor, RSE creates the member on the host but does not copy the contents of the editor to the host. ·[SE24464] If a user creates a connection in RSE, saves the user ID and password, disconnects, and tries to implicitly connect again (for example, by expanding a filter) with the same user ID which by now has been disabled on the host (i.e. the status of the user profile is *DISABLED), RSE shows an incorrect error message about the saved password being incorrect. RSE should show a more appropriate message. ·[SE24601] After a Save As of an ILE COBOL member, parser actions (e.g. Verify) are not always available. ·[SE24805] Uppercasing using Alt+K, or lowercasing using Alt+I in Remote Systems LPEX Editor for CL when auto-formatting is enabled causes duplicate text to appear. ·[SE24840] Specifying a mismatched bracket in a quoted string in an expression in the CL prompter causes a stack overflow error. ·[SE24741] Some prefix commands of LPEX editor, such as RR, are ignored by COBOL source members during an editing session. ·[SE24804] Setting service entry point fails if debug server has been started from job subsystem other than QUSRWRK. ·[SE24812] Debugger failed to start if there was message waiting for reply when running initial command of connection. ·[SE24845] The outline view for RPG was not being correctly refreshed. ·[SE24856] Submitted jobs would occasionally show up in the iSeries Job Status view with a submitted date of December 31, 1969 after the workbench was restarted. ·[SE24951] Unable to open an XML file containing NL characters with an encoding other than UTF-8 using Remote System Explorer. ·[SE25108] Opening the Remote Systems LPEX Editor on a member already opened in a non-LPEX editor causes a second editor to be opened on the member instead of setting focus on the existing editor. ·[SE25133] Using the New Procedure wizard in ILE RPG source to generate main procedures and programs, generates unnecessary code. ·[SE25242] CL prompter and syntax generator issues invalid message EVFCL0001 when specifying a non-character expression for the COND parameter for the WHEN command. ·[SE25364] Filter>Date displays an incorrect current date when the day of the month is less than 10. ·[SE25369] '$' character in a variable name handled incorrectly by Content Assist's Template function. ·[SE25387] CL prompter and syntax checker does not correctly handle blank padded literals in an element list, issuing an invalid error when syntax checking and corrupting the command when prompted. The CL prompter and syntax checker also issues an invalid error message when either ?0? or ?1? is specified for command parameters that require a logical value. ·[SE25510] Copying a file to IFS using Remote System Explorer always results in file with CCSID 1200, which can cause problems with file content. ·[SE25655] LPEX Editor?s User Key Action for enter key does not work for COBOL parsers. ·[SE25675] CL prompter erroneously issues error message EVFCL0088 when validating parameters using hexadecimal values. ·[SE25774] When retrieving errors from the iSeries Jobs Status view for compiles or builds submitted from iSeries projects, error message EVFF6009E, indicating that the events file could not be processed, is sometimes issued. ·[SE26008] The Command Log view does not display all the messages in the job log ·[SE26010] The CL formatter does not behave correctly when statements are preceded by a continued comment and when the first statement in a program is preceded by a comment. ·[SE26078] The DDS Outline view shows NULL as the name of the file if it is not a database member. It displays an error message if the first field in a PRTF record does not have a position. ·The check for the callback for the debug daemon has been removed from the Verify Connection dialog. Since v6.0, the debugger uses a debug server on the iSeries and a callback is not required anymore. ·DDS (Data Description Specifications) language reference was out of date. It is now updated to V5R4. ·The iSeries CL parser preference page now includes V5R4 in the CL Reference Release preference. Cheers!
