I would love it if you could simply turn on expand/collapse sub procedures
in the settings, and then each member you went into would already have that
done (i.e. plus/minus capability). Or maybe a more efficient way of saying
it - make it exactly similar to the Java editor functionality:-)

as far as I know, the "filter selection" function will only filter on a line
level, not an operation level.

But your does make me want to shout "Violaine, is there any more room on
your list?"

[WDSCI-L] Filtering selections






Maybe I'm missing a fix pack, but I'm trying to use the option to filter a
selection in RPG IV and it is not showing the full operation.

For example if I have something like this:

  myField = lotsOfNewData + %Trim(otherStuff) +
            theLastBit;

And filter on lotsOfNewData, I don't see the last part of the statement
without expanding that part of the view - which is less that helpful as it
may be hundreds of lines.

Any way round this?
