Violaine, This is good to know. Can an option be added to pop up a selection screen for each time the compare is run? Sometimes I want a strict comparison, other times I want a looser one, on a member by member basis. The initial defaults can be taken from the current values initially, but should be saved on a per session basis. For example: When I initially start a maintenance project that might have two versions of a program I would want a strict comparison of both members. Once I start working on it I will probably add comments and indentation. At that point, just to check if I missed anything, I would want a looser comparison - ignoring comments and white space. Is there a way to change the compare results colors from the default yellow and pink? That could also be added. Thanks. -mark Original Message: ----------------- From: Violaine Batthish batthish@xxxxxxxxxx Date: Thu, 11 May 2006 11:48:00 -0400 To: wdsci-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [WDSCI-L] Enhancement request Hi Mark, Under Windows->Preferences->LPEX Editor->Compare You will find the following options: - Ignore Case - Ignore leading/trailing blanks - Ignore all blanks - Ignore sequence numbers - Ignore comments and there is an option for restricting columns when comparing. I will add your request for search and for comparing more than 2 members. thanks, Violaine Batthish WebSphere Development Studio Client, IBM Toronto Lab wdsci-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote on 05/11/2006 10:36:26 AM: > Violaine, > > I would like to add to that request.
