I do not think it would be impossible, just difficult.  For someone that 
has done a lot of thread coding it might not even be that difficult.  I 
just do not have the time or inclination to spend time on it.  The project 
is open source now and I wrote very detailed instructions on how to get 
the code and modify and even test it.  Hopefully someone on the list will 
feel the motivation someday to tackle this and send me a patch.  If they 
do, I will happily review it and release a new version once it is 
accepted.
