Since iSeries navigator is part of the free stuff of iSeries access, I 
wonder if they have plugins available for WDSC?

In Navigator I did a right click on tables and selected Create Shortcut. 
And this created a shortcut on my desktop with the Target of
"C:\Program Files\IBM\Client Access\cwbunnav.exe" "/s=Gdisys 
/o=\\UNY0GdisysAS42DatabasesDatabasesFolder6GdisysSysbaseDatabaseFolder0SchemasSchemasFolder0QIWSSysbaseSchemaFolder2TablesTablesFolder11

Perhaps you could pull a stunt from DBU and create an add on that simply 
executed this.
