Joe: <snip> I finally got through this morning to someone who was willing to take my order, only to be told after all the rigmarole that it would be THREE TO FOUR WEEKS for shipment. AIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! </snip> I LOVE WDSc...in spite of its quirks and current shortcomings. The development staff is great at responding to issues and actually resolving many of them. The ONLY problem I have is in getting new versions. WHY does it take so long to send out the CDs? We had to wait for the official availability date...now we have to wait for a BP to place an order and then for IBM to get around to shipping it. We are just customers here...no "special" relationship, but in this day of e-commerce (even eServer e-commerce), can't a customer sign on and order software directly? I have downloaded all kinds of software on a moments notice, paid for or not, except when I deal with IBM. Fortunately they turned Eclipse over to open source before they pulled the plug on support like they seem to be doing with CGIDEV2. Oh well, I know I'm preaching to the choir here...just had to vent. I guess I'll get off the soap box before I fall and hurt myself. ;-) --Bruce Guetzkow
