Hi,

You should actually never look at 254-263... but always use 358-367 as this is 
the CURRENT userprofile.  Especially system and server jobs (like ODBC/JDBC for 
example) very often start of as Q.... profiles, but swap the profile to the one 
you provided as logon information.

Well..in most cases that *will* be the user. But realize that if you
change the effective user ID (like with the qsyseteuid API), it would
be different than what's in 254-263 (as Bill mentioned).
