In the last weeks, I have ran into the same problem several times. The problem occurs when I close WDSCi and restart almost immediately. The program starts, but it says something like 'Problem restoring workbench'. No views are shown in the Remote Systems perspective. When I choose the option Reset Perspective, all my connections in the view Remote Systems are lost. Two questions: - A question to the IBM'ers on this list. It seems that, in closing down, some file(s) are still in use. Wouldn't it be possible to check if some of the key files are available, before actually starting the program? This would prevent that I end up with a situation that is pretty useless. - What is the quickest and easiest way to solve the problem? Last times, I have renamed my workspace, started WDSCi, and then copied some directories and files from the old workspace to the new workspace. However, each time I have to reset some of the Preferences, etcetera. Therefore, when I see the dreaded message again, I take a deep sigh, knowing that I have to go through the whole process once again. Can anyone give me a clue about an easier solution? Thanks, Ewout
