Good point, since you brought it up....

If you truly think this is an enhancement that needs to be done to 
WebFacing then contact your IBM marketing/sales rep and get them to push 
it through as such.  I understand the requirement but we are basically 
driven by what marketing thinks is important.  So make their view and your 
view align.

This is my view not necessarily that of my employer, etc. etc.

   Requires Internet Exploder 5.5 or greater, which I would really like to
   see IBM resolve.  The web is the web and every compliant browser should
   work with the webfaced app not just IE.  We currently are running our
   webfaced apps off of Apache2 / Tomcat5 server on Linux and access them
   with IE.  Hope this helps
