I think you can config things so that the http server delivers static content and WAS handles all the dynamic stuff but I'm not familiar enough with that part of the config to guide you in the right direction. This is desirable for high-traffic sites, that way only the http server is involved to deliver graphics & the like. It is very odd that you need to download the file so much? Do you have the caching set to "automatic" in IE? It sounds like you have it set not to cache at all -- which I have observed will cause problems with some cases. The JavaScript library should only need to be downloaded once and should be cached for use by subsequent pages. Mike Mike Hockings, P.Eng. I have to press refresh several times to get the file loaded, even with 256K connection is the same error but we can figure out what is wrong. We have discarded PC and network bandwith as the cause of the problem but can find any differences in our router configuration from other office that work fine. Anybody can say if making the IBM HTTP Server handle static content helps to improve performance. Thanks.
